Background
As a Colorado native, Tom's heart has always been in the Rocky Mountains. Tom first gained interest in architecture back in high school, enjoying both technical drawing and art classes. His education continued as he gained practical experience working for architectural and engineering firms while acquiring his Bachelor of Environmental Design from the University of Colorado in Boulder. His years there introduced Tom to the ideology of sustainable design, which remains a fundamental guide as he strives for practical approaches to new materials and ideas in design. Tom continued his architectural pursuit and in 1998 became a licensed architect in the State of Colorado. Over the course of his career, he has been involved in a wide variety of architectural projects; from commercial to multi-family and mixed-use including resort developments and high-end single family.
